Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the Manufacturing industry, located in La Porte, Texas. As a Billing Clerk, you will be entrusted with tasks revolving around billing, maintaining customer credit records, and handling Accounts Receivable (AR) duties.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake manual billing tasks using Excel

• Track and update customer credit records with precision

• Handle queries related to billing and accounts receivable

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Experience with refinery billing and industrial billing background will be beneficial

• Utilize Excel for various billing operations

• Ensure accurate and timely billing procedures

• Manage paper/spreadsheet related tasks efficiently.

Requirements • Minimum of two years experience in a billing clerk role or similar

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in billing procedures

• Proficiency in spreadsheet software is essential

• Background in the manufacturing industry preferred

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in finance or related field will be considered a plus
