Job Description:

General Dynamics Information Technology is currently seeking a Field Support Senior Engineer in La Plata, MD. The selected candidate will have a current TS/SCI security clearance w/ CI Poly

Field Support Senior Engineer daily primary activities include:

  • Manages operations execution on a 24/7/365 operations floor

  • Coordinates teams of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) with internal/external partners

  • Manages COMSEC activities

  • Monitors, documents, and reports overall operations integrity and success

  • Troubleshoots operational support issues; proactively seeks resolution

  • Coordinates operational schedules with multiple agencies

  • Schedules local software/hardware implementation and test & evaluation activities

  • Reports security, personnel, or resource problems to Site Lead or Site Operations Lead

  • Participates in systems improvement development

Additional Duties:

  • Facilities/secure area entry/shipment control manager outside of normal duty hours

  • Drafts technical correspondence

  • Delivers briefings to varied audiences

Required Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI w/ CI Polly

  • Intelligence experience

  • BS + 5 yrs experience, or MS + 3 yrs experience

  • Outstanding communication and coordination skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts, 4-days on and 4-days off – transition night to day shift quarterly

  • Ability to multi-task and effectively lead teams of OEM technical experts

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
