We are seeking a Lead Carpenter with at least 7 years of experience in framing, deck building, and remodeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a \"can-do\" attitude, and the ability to lead and mentor a small team of 3-4 apprentices. This role requires excellent technical skills, a passion for quality workmanship, and the ability to interpret blueprints and work independently. Responsibilities: - Lead a team of 3-4 carpenters in the construction, repair, and replacement of wood and composite decks, as well as other remodeling projects. - Provide mentorship and training to apprentices, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to guide the crew in executing accurate and efficient construction. - Calculate and install stairs, rafters, and other framing components as needed for deck and remodeling projects. - Maintain a positive and productive work environment, ensuring high team morale and job satisfaction. - Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and stay on budget. - Maintain a basic set of tools and bags, ensuring that all equipment is in working condition. - Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and regulations.
