POSTION: Patient Care Technician

DUTIES: * Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; * When holding a valid LPN License, will provide basic care to patients within the LPN scope of practice that includes actions that meet psychosocial needs and physical needs. Colorado - LPNs may perform IV therapy and venous blood withdrawal and administer "premixed antibiotic solutions via peripheral veins regulated by gravity flow or pump. * Meets the communication needs of patient and family, provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. * Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. * Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. * Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. * Is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. * Train as backup for ER Assistant * Will provide one-on-one supervision of patients experiencing acute self-harm ideation.

REQUIREMENTS: * High School diploma or equivalent. * Current BCLS certification * LPN license when applicable.

SHIFTS: To be scheduled by employer. Including weekends and holidays.

WAGE: $15.00 - $19.94 per/hour Paid: Every two weeks
