Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry located in La Jolla, California. The specialist will be responsible for managing and reconciling client invoices and accounts, journal entries, and financial reports, while also maintaining relationships with vendors, clients, and property managers.

Responsibilities:

• Handle single unit personal property and small assets

• Conduct and manage journal entries operations

• Communicate effectively with property managers, vendors, and clients

• Manage client invoices, tracking and reconciling receivables

• Perform bank reconciliations routinely

• Submit financial reports and assist with audit preparations

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Appfolio and Yardi for efficient management

• Employ Microsoft Excel for data entry and discrepancy management

• Leverage skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and check processing

• Manage vendor relationships effectively

The role demands proficiency in various skills including Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, Data Entry, Discrepancy, AppFolio, Bank Reconciliations, and Vendor Relationship Management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as AppFolio

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in handling Accounting Functions, specifically Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies in financial records

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to manage Vendor Relationships effectively

• Knowledge of real estate and property industry is a plus
