Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s degree in business, public administration, or a related field. * Proven leadership experience in a chamber of commerce or similar organization. * Three to five years of experience in a business-related field or other similar leadership position. Additionally, three to five years of experience in program management and/or administration, grant coordination, management, or administration, and budget preparation and administration. * Three years of supervisory experience. * Experience operating or working for a small nonprofit preferred. ** May substitute relevant education or experience to satisfy the above requirements. Additional Notes: * Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. * Visionary thinking and strategic planning abilities. * Knowledge of local economic, political, and business trends. Key Responsibilities: * Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic plan that aligns with the chamber\'s mission and goals, ensuring its effectiveness and adaptability. * Membership Development: Grow and retain chamber membership through outreach, engagement, and the development of valuable membership benefits. * Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and fundraising efforts to ensure the chamber\'s financial stability and growth. * Advocacy and Public Relations: Serve as the public face of the chamber, advocating for the interests of local businesses and maintaining positive relationships with government agencies, media, and the community. * Program Development: Identify and implement programs, events, and initiatives that promote business growth and community prosperity. * Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. * Board Relations: Collaborate effectively with the board of directors, providing regular updates, support, and guidance to ensure the chamber\'s success. Salary: * \$56,000 to \$66,000.
