Job Overview: As a Producer for our news talk station, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the content that reaches our listeners. You will be responsible for scheduling interviews, producing content for our various brand platforms, and ensuring that all elements of our broadcasts are executed seamlessly. This is a dynamic position that requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Content Production: Develop, produce, and edit compelling content for our news talk programs across various platforms, including radio, podcasts, and digital channels. Interview Coordination: Work with management and show hosts to schedule and coordinate interviews with guests. Live Broadcast Support: Assist with live broadcasts, including operating the control board, managing sound levels, and ensuring technical perfection during shows. Research and Planning: Help show hosts conduct research to support show topics, interview questions, and content development, ensuring that our programming is informative and engaging. Platform Management: Oversee the production and distribution of content across our brand platforms, including social media, websites, and streaming services. Crisis Management: Respond quickly to breaking news or unexpected changes, adjusting content and scheduling to maintain relevance and accuracy. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in radio production or a related field, preferably in a talk format. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with radio broadcasting equipment, automation systems, and digital content platforms. Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as needed. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with hosts, guests, and other team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Adaptability: Ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing situations, including breaking news or last-minute guest changes.
