Schedule Weekly Hours:32 Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Outpatient Occupational Therapist certified in Lymphedema to join our team. What You\'ll Do: As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat individuals with disabilities, injuries and disease using appropriate modalities and treatment techniques according to Wisconsin OT Standards of Practice. In this role you will primarily focus on patients who have Lymphedema. As an Outpatient Lymphedema Occupational Therapist you will help patients manage their chronic condition by teaching self-care skills and provide wholistic treatment including education about lymphedema prevention and management, perform manual lymphatic drainage to help move excess fluid out of swollen limbs, recommend customized compression therapy plans, teach patients exercises to help relieve symptoms and improve range of motion, perform soft tissue mobilization and scar management, and provide instruction on pain and lifestyle management. Lymphedema Certification required.
