We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in Wisconsin. This role is primarily focused on the design, implementation, and support of public and private cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing and monitoring cloud resources, ensuring robust alert, reporting, and security systems. This role is situated within the telecommunications sector.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support public and private cloud infrastructure.

• Manage and monitor cloud resources including storage and virtual environments.

• Ensure the robustness of alert, reporting, and security systems.

• Assist in the design and implementation of public and private cloud storage and virtual environments.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and updates as required.

• Create and manage cloud database services, APIs, replication, and scaling.

• Carry out technical analysis of existing software workloads and define a migration roadmap.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services.

• Utilize skills including deployment of Microsoft Azure Security, Microsoft Azure Services, storage and networking, and other related software and methodologies.

• Manage VMware virtual environments and use Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, and Firewall Technologies.

Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer

• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is mandatory

• Familiarity with Checkpoint is required

• Experience with Cisco ASA is necessary

• Knowledge of Cisco Routers is a must

• Candidate should have a good understanding of Cisco Technologies

• Competence in managing Computer Hardware is essential

• Must have experience in Configuration Management

• Ability to Design Network Infrastructure is required

• Knowledge of Eigrp is necessary

• Proficiency in Firewall Technologies is mandatory

• Ability to work legally in the United States

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred

• Must be able to work in a team and also independently

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively
