Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Location: Kutztown, PA

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Start: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

• Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards

• Maintains all required QC documentation in addition to any other state or customer required documentation

• Manages department to complete all product inspection documentation and record keeping

• Prepares and analyses department reports

• Maintains plant certifications and QC plans

• Ordering of materials; cement, sand, stone

• Follow established company rules and regulations and safety procedures

• Assuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner

• Takes responsibility for quality of work performed by self and team to meet customer needs and project specifications.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations

• Schedule personnel for workload and to meet customer demands

• Train new department employees as necessary, including batch plant operations and QC tech position requirements.

  Requirements:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations required for quality testing and analysis per applicable ASTM, NPCA and ACI requirements.

• Current driver's license.

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I

• NPCA PQS Level I

• Knowledge of Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
