Job Summary:

As a Director, Store Operations & Sales, you are ultimately responsible for the profitability and operational performance of our retail operations.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads a growing retail operations of currently five retail convenience stores/truck stops and over 150 employees with an average of 2.84M gallons in fuel sales per store and $3.12M inside sales per store
  • Oversees the opening of future c-store/truck stop locations plus retail wine and spirits locations increasing sales and operational growth
  • Directs the growth of food service operations within all operational locales
  • Creates, implements, and achieves company sales and margin goals by setting strategic direction and developing annual and long-term plans
  • Responsible for marketing, merchandising, developing vendor relationships and negotiations
  • Understands daily market conditions and establishing fuel prices for each market
  • Ensures every site consistently delivers best-in-class customer service and operational excellence
  • Establishes shift, daily, weekly, and monthly staffing budgets by hours and labor costs
  • Empowers site leadership teams through professional development, motivate employees to deliver extraordinary results to achieve the organization's business goals
  • Responsible for succession planning within the store operations to build bench strength
  • Executes operational best practices and process improvements throughout the operations by leveraging relevant KPIs to optimize top and bottom-line results
  • Provides strategic vision and leadership in addition to operational expertise and general managements skills to drive results
  • Ensures legal and regulatory compliance are maintained within operations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
