Kohler Intern - Strategic Intelligence

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategic Intern to join our Strategic Intelligence team. This intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore and implement AI-driven solutions, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help drive innovation within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for artificial intelligence, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think creatively about how AI can solve business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Solution Implementation : Assist in implementing AI models and prototypes to address real-world business challenges within Enterprise and Strategic Intelligence.

  • Strategic Insights : Support the development of AI strategies that align with organizational goals, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.

  • Data Collection & Analysis : Gather and analyze large datasets, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for AI implementation.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore AI solutions, communicate insights, and support integration efforts.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation of AI strategies, project progress, and results, providing recommendations for future initiatives.

  • Learning & Development: Continuously expanding knowledge on the latest AI developments and tools to contribute effectively to ongoing projects. Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.

Skills/Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program from an accredited institution in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship

  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and tools such as Python, TensorFlow, Keras, or similar.

  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using Excel, Python, R, or other relevant software for quantitative analysis.

  • Ability to think critically, manage complexity, analyze complex data, and offer innovative AI-driven solutions to business problems. Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The hourly range for this position is $23.98 - $29.98. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s education and work location. This position may be eligible for benefits.
