This role sits in the unique position of partnering with Kohler’s new product development teams, Marketing teams, and digital products to name a few. Specific Responsibilities

  • Builds trust and develops effective relationships with key stakeholders in all business units and corporate functions.

  • Drives the planning, implementation, administration and communication of data privacy compliance and privacy-by-design in key functions such as connected products, digital products, and marketing.

  • Develops and maintains ongoing reporting mechanisms to identify and manage data privacy compliance risks and exposures in these key functions.

  • Partners with business leaders to develop and implement global AI strategy and processes.

  • Identify and recommend technical solutions to manage privacy risks in products, market tests, digital products, and other consumer facing endeavors.

  • Develop and perform product privacy consultations, product specific privacy policies and procedures.

  • Assists in maintaining statutory records of processing required under Article 30 of the GDPR and other jurisdictions.

  • Collaborates with new product development and IOT teams in creating new uses of data that employ privacy features.

  • Develops corrective action plans to ensure compliance with data privacy global framework and delivers recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Monitors regulatory changes and trends in data privacy, data ethics and responsible AI and develops strategic recommendations and implementation plans accordingly.

  • Partners with senior leadership on development and implementation of new privacy framework pillars including Advertising and Marketing.

  • Ongoing ownership of Martech, Adtech and Digital Product privacy framework, working closely with Marketing, Data Analytics and IT leaders and teams.

Skills/Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work across business streams, i.e. Data, Compliance, Business, Information Security, New Product Development, Marketing, etc.

  • Knowledge of global data privacy regimes, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA, PIPL

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent technical degrees.

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) (CIPM or CIPT preferred).

  • Three or more years of program management related work, ideally with a focus in data privacy related work.

  • Competency with IT Security principles and a willingness to understand IT and data analytics related concepts and terms.

  • Experience issue spotting and triaging privacy issues as they emerge across the product lifecycle, and tracking multiple competing priorities across a blended team

  • Adept at building strong relationships with international business partners to drive compliance initiatives.

  • Ability drive forward multiple initiatives in timely manner.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport and credibility within company.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively across business units and locations.

  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

  • Self-motivated, strategic, innovative and detail oriented.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<20%)

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $129,150 - $165,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
