The Senior Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company. This position involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, conducting detailed financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with GAAP principles. Responsibilities

• Calculate, prepare, and review journal entries for the monthly close

• Review monthly financial statements and provide detailed analysis of budget and prior

period variances

• Assist the Fixed Asset manager

• Review cost of goods sold and prepare variance analyses monthly

• Implement, coordinate, and review various aspects of the annual budgeting process

• Reconcile General Ledger Accounts and prepare monthly roll forward schedules

• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

• Assist with SOX compliance

• Assigned month end/quarter end/year end close responsibilities

• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending for the Company
