Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to maintain and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment. You will be responsible for servicing split systems, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX Systems, and more. This role involves testing and replacing parts using appropriate instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment.

  • Service split systems, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX Systems, etc.

  • Test and replace parts using appropriate instruments.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ years of residential or commercial HVAC service experience.

  • Refrigeration, HVAC, industrial, air conditioning, troubleshooting, repair, installation.

  • EPA universal certification required.

  • Experience with refrigeration equipment, compressor, boiler, HVAC equipment, HVAC system, HVAC maintenance.

  • Mechanical skills and knowledge of refrigerant and control panels.

  • Clean driving record (will be driving company vehicle after contract period).

  • Own standard HVAC tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial HVAC systems.

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Servicing clients in buildings ranging from light commercial spaces to industrial facilities within a 60-mile radius of Knoxville. Technicians will work a rotating on-call schedule after they become permanent employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
