Job Description

Hybrid Position - The ideal candidate must live in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding area.

The Human Resource Service Delivery Representative aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for all employees. This role is the first point of contact for all employees and provides Level 1 (Tier 1) support for all Human Resources Service Areas including Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Employee Records, Leave of Absence, Learning and Development.

  • Provides Level 1 (Tier 1) support to HR Business Partners, Managers and Team Members regarding questions related to various HR data.

  • Performs a variety of general administrative duties related to HR compliance.

  • Answers general questions from Team Members via phone, chat, email, etc.

  • Works with HR Business Partners, Managers and appropriate COE’s regarding any follow-up/reporting needed for various company-wide initiatives.

  • Promotes an environment of teamwork and positivity.

Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of HR principles – Generalist

  • Ability to independently handle, research, evaluate and resolve simplex problems for all HR principals (Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Employee Records, Leave of Absence, Learning and Development, etc.) and use existing resources to assist with inquiries.

  • Ability to utilize and transact in HR systems, portals, knowledgebase and case management and follow standard procedures in resolving issues, knowing when to refer to higher tiers when appropriate.

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines, cycle times and service level agreements

  • Ability to understand and follow HR Policies and procedures

  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

  • Strong organizational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • High school diploma

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Customer Service or Human Resources

  • SHRM or HRCI credential preferred
