Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team, focusing on the research and development of complex electro-mechanical instrumentation for the textile industry. Your responsibilities will encompass architectural definition, circuit design, schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware testing.

Hard Skills

  • Analog

  • Instrumentation

  • Analog electronics design

  • Digital electronics design

  • Schematic design

  • Design and test of analog/digital circuits

  • Power supplies (DC/DC) and optical electronics

  • Part selection, schematic capture, and layout of multilayer circuit boards

  • Proficiency in Altium designer or equivalent and Spice circuit analysis

Soft Skills

  • At least 7 years of on-the-job experience

  • B.S.E.E. degree

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Work Environment

We offer a professional work environment with a schedule of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with very little overtime. During the summer months, the schedule shifts to four 9-hour days and a half-day on Fridays. You will be part of a diverse team consisting of 2 Electrical Engineers, 4 Software Engineers, and 3 Mechanical Engineers, all reporting up to the team lead.
