Summary You will serve as a HR SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the USFF HR SERVICES BRANCH, EXECUTIVE SUPPORT OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will provide HR advisory services to assigned organizations. You will provide recruitment and placement services to assigned organizations. You will participate in special initiatives, studies and projects. You will prepare written correspondence and other documentation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience using a wide range of HR specialization concepts, practices, regulations, precedents, and procedures, special recruiting authorities and strategies. * Experience providing comprehensive HR services to management and employees throughout organizations serviced. * Experience interpreting and applying law, regulations policies, and practices to provide advice and guidance to officials, supervisors, and employees on a variety of HR functions. * Experience with current HR database systems to query, retrieve, and analyze information to complete assignments.
