Jr. Davis Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and vast knowledge in truck parts to fill the position of a Parts Inventory Control Specialist. This person will be responsible for all light and heavy duty truck parts ordering and day to day inventory operations.  This person should be able to work independently with the ability to research and resource parts for expedited repairs.  

Responsibilities:

• Handle all truck shop parts orders, returns and inventory.

• Receive and track all inventory.

• Physically stock inventory.

• Maintain inventory in parts room with exceptional organization.

• Tracks parts distributed for repairs and maintain records in a timely manner.

• Pull and fill orders from stock.

• Communicate with the shop lead on parts status.

• Record, track and process returns on all cores.

• Locate out of stock parts from out sourced vendors and handle emergency orders as needed.

• Set up daily orders, shipments and coordinate any parts pickup’s.

• Create and run stock order reporting to track replenishment needs.

• Maintain vendor relationships with all parts resources.

• Assist with other duties as needed.

  Experience:

• High School Diploma / G.E.D

• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

• Two years of previous parts/ inventory control experience

• Basic mechanical knowledge

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Great communication skills
