Field Trainer - Residential Carpentry

Title: Field Training Supervisor

Reports To: Field Development Manager (FDM)

Job Purpose: To provide training, career development, and support to the Production Team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Perform onboarding for new field associates

• Conduct training for field associates in remodeling skills, focusing on high efficiency and excellent quality in both group and individual settings

• Provide hands-on training at our training facility, on job sites, and in Mosby-owned houses

• Support the FDM with identifying, developing, and performing training programs for all field associates to generate higher productivity and safety

• Work with the production team to ensure training is performed and effective

• Communicate with production management, trainers, and field associates to ensure that all training needs are met

• Provide leadership and support to all field associates

• Assist PMs in staffing their jobs with high-caliber and appropriate talent specific to the job

• Support other training efforts as requested

  Minimum Requirements:

• 10 years of remodeling experience

• Exceptional communication, motivational, and relationship-building skills

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task

• Intermediate computer skills, with the ability to useor learnMicrosoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiently.

• Advanced carpentry skills & ability to accurately read & interpret blueprints and scopes of work

• Have your own transportation, valid class E driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to transport yourself and materials between job sites

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
