At L&P Aerospace, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interaction.

 

After our materials have gone through the necessary processes, we are left with high-performance finished goods that are ready to be incorporated into assemblies for our customers.

POSITION SUMMARY: Manages and leads the accounting processes and staff of the company.  The major areas of responsibility are A/P, A/R, budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, cash flow planning & execution, financial reporting, and general accounting. Responsible for developing and maintaining Finance as a business partner of the Company's Sales, Engineering, Operations and HR organizations so that these organizations work together to lead the key initiatives and obtain the critical Company goals.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Solving financial problems related to the preparation of financial reports, including the company's balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and cash flow forecast
  • Developing, managing, reporting on the A/P, A/R, procurement, inventory functions, budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, cash flow planning & execution, financial reporting, and general accounting
  • Proactively identify potential financial, operational and administrative problems and bottlenecks, and to make recommendations on how these problems can be solved.
  • Maintains monthly and year-end financial statements and supporting schedules, including analysis and interpretation to Sr. Management of same.
  • Monitoring and regulating cash flow
  • Managing inventory costing and bi-weekly reporting to financial institution
  • Interfacing with sales, engineering and operations on finance issues, including quoting rates and methods, purchasing methods, and job profit and loss
