Do you enjoy hands on work and have an eye for detail? We are looking for a Machine Operator helper to work in a fabric manufacturing facility in Kinston. This is an entry level position where minimal experience is needed. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in a manufacturing environment Position starts out at $11/hr then goes up to $12.10/hr once you are trained

salary: $11 - $12.1 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Operate knitting machines within quality and productivity guidelines.

1. Able to use vision and fingers to manipulate materials and

machinery at expected rate.

2. Able to remain standing for extended periods of time and able to

safely doff knit rolls.

3. Responsible for starting machine, observing operation to detect

malfunctions and defects, and minimizing defects and quality losses

by stopping machines.

4. Can mount, position, or place yarn in the creel and though guides to

the knitting machine.

5. Responsible for doffing rolls and transporting to greige inspection.

6. Responsible for housekeeping on/around knitting machines, creels,

and aisles.

7. Responsible for other duties (e.g.; inspection, blow down, waste

handling, yarn pack stripping) as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 9 hours at one time
