Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the accounting department in various tasks. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy.

• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.

• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Support external auditors during the annual audit process.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

• Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.

• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Experience with account reconciliation is essential

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• CPA certification is a plus
