Earn \$140-\$200 per day, depending on location working as a substitute teacher for Kingman Unified School District or work part time as your schedule permits. We have a Monday through Thursday 4 day school week so you can enjoy every long weekend off.

Summary/Objective

Managing student learning, in the absence of the regular teacher in accordance with the goals and directives of the District.

Essential Functions

1. Responds to all internal and external customers, as it relates to job, in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner
2. Teaches district approved curriculum, as specified in the Arizona Standards
3. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
4. Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
5. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the needs and capabilities of the students involved
6. Guides learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and (in harmony with the goals) establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects
7. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to achieve an effective learning environment
8. Evaluates students academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports
9. Maintains the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed
10. Maintains knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
11. Performs related duties as assigned in a safe and prudent manner
