LINES OF AUTHORITY:This position is supervised by the Chief Executive Officer.
POSITION SUMMARY:The position is expected to comply with the minimum standards of production as established by administration.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates MMHC Board of Directors meetings; prepares and distributes meeting agendas and minutes; maintains agenda/minutes/confidential reports binder; facilitates communication with Board members as needed.
- Is responsible for coordination and completion of sponsoring employer paperwork for J-1 Visa Waiver and H1-B Petition Physicians.
- Initiates, prepares, and submits facility related license applications to the applicable state or county department; maintains the license files and related communication.
- Initiates, prepares and submits applications for medication benefit administration as relates to the medical staff.
- Initiates, prepares and submits AHCCCS provider # applications; maintains the AHCCCS files.
- Acts as a check signer on authorized MMHC bank accounts.
- Prepares and submits RFPs for various contracts.
- Maintains the contents and inventory of the Safe Deposit Box.
- Reports to insurance company all claims; requests Certificates of Insurance as needed.
- Provides customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Participates in the Performance Improvement Processes in the Clinic.
- The employee must work well under pressure meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines. The employee shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
