Description

We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry, based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, for a Sales Assistant. The position involves supporting internal and external sales representatives and partners in achieving sales goals, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, and preparing and processing lease transactions. This role also includes handling customer inquiries, problem resolution, and contract activation, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting sales representatives and partners in achieving sales goals

• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers

• Preparing and processing lease transactions, contracts, loans, and other financial agreements

• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and partners, addressing documentation, transactions, policies, etc.

• Working with customers/vendors to address problems/issues and coordinating resolution with appropriate internal departments

• Authorizing contract activation and vendor dealer payment within authority

• Confirming delivery and acceptance of equipment with vendors/customers

• Filing UCCs, initiating lien searches and obtaining subordination agreements when necessary

• Calculating and validating pricing within established policies/procedures

• Participating in, coordinating and/or leading projects within the team. Serving as the team's subject matter expert for cross-functional projects

• Adhering to compliance policies/procedures and obtaining necessary information to clear KYC/CAMS/OFAC etc. requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for this role.

• Proven experience in sales is necessary, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Must have the ability to accurately handle documentation, with an emphasis on detail and organization.

• Previous experience in training staff or individuals is desirable.

• Familiarity with standard procedures and policies in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements within the manufacturing industry is necessary.

• Experience in managing contracts, with strong negotiation skills.

• Excellent phone presence, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and vendors over the phone.

• Familiarity with pricing strategies and negotiation.

• Experience in dealing with vendors and partners in a friendly manner.

• Proficient in filing systems, with strong organizational skills.

• Regular attendance is crucial to maintain continuity in the role.

• Understanding of loan origination and compliance functions is beneficial.

• Experience in dealing with missing invoices and validation plans is desirable.

• Strong problem resolution skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively.

• Must be comfortable dealing with external customers and liaising between different departments.

• Ability to drive continuous improvement in sales processes and strategies.

• Considered a subject matter expert in the field of sales within the manufacturing industry.

• Experience working with dealers in a sales context is beneficial.
