Job Title: Solutions Architect

Job Description

Solutions Architect to support our DoD client in Dahlgren, VA. The Sr. Solutions Architect will provide capabilities to support the customer with rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance and operation of specific software and hardware capabilities to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and build components encompassing network, security, identity, governance, development, and operations in Customer's environments.

• Operationalize solutions from proof-of-concept through production using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards starting with automated testing progressing through the Dev/Ops pipeline to automated deployment.

• Recommend and if approved use emerging tools and methodologies to automate existing processes and design new virtualized and cloud-based infrastructures based on infrastructure as code mindset; script and deploy infrastructure components.

• Provide insight into and knowledge of the latest virtualized and cloud, technology, solutions, industry trends, and best practices.

• Provide insight into and knowledge of the latest DevOps, technology, solutions, industry trends, and best practices.

• Provide options for leveraging DevSecOps processes with firmware and hardware components.

• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards, cyber security, and program safety.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in King George, Virginia and some days remote.

Work Environment

This role will require more time onsite upfront meeting with clients. While any cloud-related work can be done remotely, this work will eventually have a large amount of work that will need to be completed on SIPR and a hardware component on base at Dahlgren. There will be some heavy onsite requirements at the start and as everything progresses
