Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer supporting an engineering services contract in King George, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Support remote diagnostic capabilities.

  • Evaluate requirements and and analyze best methods of implementation for cost, timeline and functionality. Present findings in design reviews.

  • Create embedded hardware designs in both firmware and hardware.

  • Design electrical components and assemblies, including tactical components, test assets, and system interfaces.

  • Generate circuit card layout based on prototype schematic designs.

  • Support troubleshooting and testing activities ranging from component-level to integrated system level.

  • Work closely with a team of engineers, analysts and technicians to develop, build, refine, and deliver engineering prototypes.

  • Apply Military Standards in design, as well as cable fabrication and testing techniques.

  • Maintain design documentation through project Configuration Management processes.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline OR equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in PCB or Wire Harness design using ECAD tools.

  • Experience in use of electronic test equipment in testing and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies and wire harnesses.

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Desired

  • BS or Masters in EE with a minimum of Five (5) years of professional experience, including specialized in DOD or related programs.

  • Expertise of development languages such as C/C++.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with ECAD software such as Altium and OrCAD.

  • Familiarity with MCAD programs such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
