Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 19.5

Summary of Position

This job performs instructional work in specific areas of drama, i.e. stagecraft, costume design, and makeup. It includes classroom teaching.

Minimum Required Education

Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Drama with transcript experience in stagecraft and makeup. Outstanding experience/performance in the field(s) taught may count towards part of this requirement.

Minimum Required Experience

Two years full-time wage earning teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Highly skilled in instructional area.

  • Ability to communicate well and to utilize delivery systems as needed.

  • Ability to organize information.

  • Ability to keep accurate and complete records.

  • Ability to perform in public and assist students to perform in public in drama area taught.
