Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, and Optical Engineers

KBR is seeking a Jr System Engineer to join our team in Kihei, HI. This person will apply systems engineering concepts and principles to basic systems. Provides technical support for all phases of system requirements development, conducting independent technical analyses, evaluation, and assessment of system requirements, requirements development, documentation, and verification.

Responsibilities:

• Develops systems engineering plans

• Establishes and manages digital representations of the system’s technical baselines using Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)/SysML and various modeling and simulation tools.

• Establishes a technical foundation to create on-ramps to rapidly integrate new capabilities

• Develop program descriptions/plans, and establish integrated roadmaps in support of program priorities.

• Reviews and prioritizes customer requirements and analyzing project costs and feasibility.

• Develops systems analysis and methodologies consistent with technical requirements and reviews recommendations for systems improvement.

Qualifications:

• B.S is STEM or related field

• SysML

• MBSE

Clearance: Secret required
