Sales Representative

CAPE FOX TOURS and TRANSPORTATION

Cape Fox Tours is seeking a friendly, go getting and customer service-oriented Sales Representative to actively sell tours and provide customer service for guests who are booked independently. This person must be proactive and personable with guest. Able to provide information on various tours and transportation throughout the day. This will be and hourly based pay with additional commission based on sales. If you are looking for a face paced work environment this could be the job for you.

Duties Include:

• Provide personable and friendly interaction with tour guests
• Exhibit professional communication skills with guest and other staff members
• Possess knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures
• Cheerfully share knowledge of local environment and tour information
• Direct and assist passengers who have booked day of and guests who have booked our tours independently
• Collect all tickets/vouchers as the passengers board motor coaches
• Be able to conduct sales through FareHarbor (training included in job)
• Assist with the distribution of promotional tour materials (brochures/rack cards)
• Work with drivers to assist passengers in the boarding process and brief passengers about their excursion details
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure, handle stress and deliver professional results
• Long hours and weekends may be required pending tour schedule, must be flexible
• Must be able work with difficult customers/guests in a professional manner
• Previous experience in tourism is desired but not required
• Must have good communication skills and able to communicate information on cultural subject matter
• Must have adequate knowledge of local environment and cultural history, practices, and lifestyle of today
• Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
