How You Will Make an Impact:

This pivotal Senior Network Engineer role oversees the technical success of our production communications environment in the vibrant Permian Basin. If you are a motivated professional with solid experience in network design and administration, particularly with Cisco Meraki systems, and thrive in both outdoor and office settings, we invite you to apply.

Location: Kermit or Monahans, Texas

Travel: Up to 10% to multiple Atlas sites in West Texas locations as needed

Hours: Mon-Fri, with on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design, administer, and optimize various network topologies to ensure robust enterprise communications.

  • Lead Operations Infrastructure projects and provide strategic direction on multiple staged projects.

  • Serve as a backup for other OT Infrastructure roles, ensuring comprehensive support and continuity.

  • Collaborate with service providers and vendors to secure the necessary equipment, supplies, and services.

  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including management, team members, and external partners.

  • Manage and maintain the technology group's asset inventory and support the development of infrastructure strategies.

  • Execute computer system validation and control system lifecycle management.

  • Provide end-user support through various channels, including a ticketing system, phone, and direct requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a systems engineer involved in the design, implementation, and support of automation systems, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

  • Solid expertise in Operating Systems, Virtualization, LAN/WAN, Firewalls, and terminal virtualization.

  • Proficient knowledge in VMware, MS Server, Active Directory, and enterprise security solutions.

  • Familiarity with SCADA environments/technologies, regulatory frameworks in the OT space, and industry security frameworks.

  • Experience with cybersecurity technologies in an industrial environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, multitask, and meet deadlines in a high-energy environment.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
