ManpowerGroup Production Assitant - 3rd shift in Kentwood, Michigan

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team. As a Production Assistant, you will be part of the operations team supporting floor personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, effective communication abilities, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 3rd Shift - Production Assistant

Location: Kentwood, MI

Pay Range: $18 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to floor personnel.

  • Supervise floor activity to ensure that work is being efficiently and properly completed.

  • Assist the supervisor in any way necessary to support the production effort.

  • Monitor and report potential unsafe conditions to management.

  • Assist in the training of new employees and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 1yr experiene, in a recent role, leading a team of 10 people or more.

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to work well as a member of a team.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of processes on the floor and a willingness to learn.
