Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. The role also involves facility maintenance, inventory management of maintenance supplies, data collection, and safe operation of a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment as assigned.

• Perform unscheduled maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to minimize machine downtime.

• Assist in diagnosing equipment issues.

• Conduct facility maintenance.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

• Perform data collection and communication tasks.

• Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and material within the facility.

• Maintain work stations to 5S organization and housekeeping standards.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician specifically on CNC Machines.

• Ability to troubleshoot CNC Machines.

• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting on Mills, Lathes, and Grinders.

• Facilities maintenance experience.

• Ability to read blueprints of CNC equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting.

Work Environment

This position is located in a job shop machining center for the medical industry. The work involves handling complex parts with very close tolerances, and the facility is temperature-controlled to ensure precision and comfort. The work runs typically range from 20-70 pieces.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kentwood, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
