Insight Global Telecom Project Coordinator in Kent, Washington

Job Description

A Pacific Northwest Utility is looking for a Telecom Project Coordinator to work in their Pole Services group remotely in Washington state. This person will be working with internal and external communications companies to coordinate the transfer of assets on distribution poles to new poles while ensuring the process is pushed through in all aspects. It is this persons responsibility to have a high sense of urgency and strong customer service as this is a fast-paced high visibility position. This person will need to come from a Telecom/Communications background as all their projects revolve around fast moving and complex pole related projects. This person will be pulling information on projects they need to accomplish daily/weekly while working with program/project managers who are trying to release projects to service providers and providing them with the necessary information. Facilitates communication between project managers, service providers and internal customers. Tracking permitting and traffic control costs, making sure they are staying on track with their deliverable dates. Reviews and provides support and coordination on project-related documentation, design plans, specifications, and other project related materials.

Skills and Requirements

- 2-3 years of experience working with Telecom Carriers on construction and project management projects while supporting senior management in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft office

- Ability to apply knowledge of the business and integrate it into daily tasks

- Ability to prioritize work and deliver projects completed and on time

- Able to work successfully in a team environment by building effective working relationships internally and externally

- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills - Construction field experience

- Engineering design experience

- Familiarity with utilities (communication or power)

- Communication joint use on power pole experience

- SAP experience

- Knowledge in reading as-builts null
