Reporting directly to the Plant Manager at our Kent, WA manufacturing facility, you will help us oversee the Environmental, Health & Safety program for 235+ members. You will manage all aspects of environmental, health, safety, and sustainable development programs. You will implement environmental programs and maintain documentation to complete all reporting and ensure ongoing compliance.

What Affect Will You Have on our Business?

• Manage all aspects of environmental, health, safety and sustainable development programs.

• Direct environmental compliance and performance functions following government regulations, corporate compliance guidelines and applicable environmental requirements.

• Ensure submittal of all environmental reports

• Promote an accident-free work environment for us by developing programs that train, monitor and assure a safe workplace.

• Deliver programs to train managers and employees in workplace safety practices.

• Support accident investigations and prepare accident reports required by regulatory agencies.

• Conduct inspections and audits in plant and at other facilities to detect existing or potential accident hazards and determine corrective or preventative measures.

• Facilitate the Central Safety Committee process by active participation in the subcommittee process and being a resource for each group.

• Administer initial Workers Compensation functions.

• Guide and direct plant toward compliance of State, Federal and local Safety and Environmental regulations.

• Determine and direct necessary compliance training for all individuals to assure OSHA, TOSHA, EPA and ConAgra training requirements.

Do You Have What it Takes?

• BS/BA preferred in safety, engineering or other relevant degree

• 5+ years supervising employees

• 5+ years' experience performing the safety function in a manufacturing environment OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Understanding of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations

• Understand State and Federal regulations and applicability to facility to ensure compliance.

• Experienced in writing regulatory reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

• Experience performing risk assessments and audits.

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary: $79,000.00 - $115,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
