Summary:

We are looking for a full-time, entry-level employee wanting to start or establish a career in professional B2B sales or business. As a supplier for our customers, our business-to-business sales tend to be close, consultative, account management relationships, as opposed to high-volume cold calling.

Responsibilities begin in the warehouse learning the product and the business. Advancement opportunities are most common in inside sales, outside sales account management; specialty areas of electrical switch gear & commercial lighting, project management, operations and supervisory roles.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability and desire to develop meaningful relationships with customers and coworkers

  • Fast, hardworking, driven, and motivated

  • High intelligence with the ability to learn quickly

  • High School Diploma, or equal

  • Minimum of 18 Years Old

  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable record

  • Read, write, and understand English

  • Perform basic math functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

  • Understand typical American Standard units of weights & measurements

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Working Conditions:

  • Stand, Bend, Twist, Lift, Reach, and Walk with frequent repetition

  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, with occasional sitting

  • Listen and speak clearly

  • Clear vision, or corrected vision, for near, moderate, and distance

  • Lift 50lbs unassisted

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

Handle material and associated paperwork from receiving to delivery. Perform all required duties to serve customers and support team goals.

  • Interact with customers over the phone and in person in a friendly and professional manner

  • Sort and identify a wide variety of products and part numbers

  • Locate and re-stock product in assigned locations

  • Handle paperwork in a detailed manner consistent with CED policy

  • Fulfill sales orders accurately and quickly to meet time commitments

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $20 to $24 hourly.
