We are seeking a live-in caregiver for an 88-year-old client who recently relocated to a new residence in Potomac, Maryland. Our client has advanced dementia. She has a hospital bed, wheelchair, and needs help with transfers and moving around. The caregiver will provide continual supervision to ensure her safety, assisting with incontinence, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, and offering companionship and activities, like singing, reading, conversing, and sitting outside. While the client can be receptive to assistance, she often experiences confusion. We seek an individual capable of engaging the client in daily activities and attending to her essential care needs. Experience with a Hoyer lift is preferred for this position. The position starts on August 30 and requires committing to every weekend.
