Come join our team! JOB SUMMARY: The Substance Use and Mental Health Therapist provides treatment to clients in a clinic/outpatient setting through both in-person and telehealth services. The Therapist conducts substance use assessments and provides treatment services as needed. These services are delivered in individual, family, and group formats. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE SUBSTANCE USE AND MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST: Complete substance use assessments for therapeutic needs. Provide individual, family and group substance counseling as needed. Be knowledgeable of all clients substance use treatment needs. Maintain state certification/licensure. Attend court hearings and present client treatment progress, as requested. Advocate for any additional services as needed. Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations when appropriate. Be able to facilitate groups(s) LOCATION: Hybrid schedule available. Office is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Must be able to meet with clients in-person. SCHEDULE: Part-time hours are flexible during business hours of Monday through Friday between the 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. Some evening hours may be required to meet clients\' needs. Master\'s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related is preferred. Must possess a Wisconsin LPC, LPC-IT, APSW, LCSW or Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC or SAC-IT) licensure or to be eligible. Pre-licensed therapists are also welcome to apply, and supervision is provided as part of the work environment Knowledge or wanting to learn more in working with AODA clients.
