Requirements

Special Projects Area Lead:This is where you come in.

We’re looking for an Area Lead to be an innovative problem solver for our customers and setting clear goals and expectations for their direct reports. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing your sales team to enhance their sales performance and project management skills. You will oversee the financial health and cultural environment, ensuring that your zone achieves positive outcomes. This includes setting short- and long-term goals, providing guidance, and fostering a productive team culture while monitoring performance metrics and facilitating effective communication across the team. Additionally, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives that support the overall objectives of the SSP and associated business units in the zone. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, clients, and internal departments.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project success and compile regular reporting for senior management.

  • Guide and nurture a team of Account Executives and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation and professional growth.

  • Oversee budget management, ensuring financial viability, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

The Special Projects Area Lead role reports to Kevin Wilder – Director of Service Special Projects Sales on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

You should have…

  • A track record of delivering first class customer service with a business-owner mindset

  • Expertise leveraging your knowledge to provide solutions to your clients

  • Proven ability to develop strategies to identify, pursue, and capture new business is a plus

  • A degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical degree or Minimum three years’ sales experience is preferred

Benefits

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 annually

Our office is in the lovely Tri-Cities area.
