Providence St. Joseph Health Care Manager RN - Hematology Oncology in Kennewick, Washington

Description Under the general direction of the Manager, Clinic RN, Care Manager RN facilitates communication between caregivers and providers in the advocacy of the patient. Acts as a liaison between staff and interdisciplinary teams to support coordination of patient care. Tracks the ordering and completion of studies and steps necessary prior starting treatment (imaging, pathology, staging, etc. based on treatment type) to ensure timely authorization and treatment start. With direction from the providers, coordinates and facilitates admission for in-hospital treatment and seamless transition back to outpatient treatment. The overall goal of the RN Care Manager is to serve as a liaison between providers and staff to ensure the timely start of treatment for best possible patient outcomes. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License 2 years Recent Outpatient Oncology Nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Nursing, from an accredited educational institution. 2 years Acute Care Nursing experience Why Join Providence?
