Wolters Kluwer Communications Manager (Hybrid) in Kennesaw, Georgia

This role is an individual contributor and hybrid position, requiring two-days in office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • External Communications: Partner with the corporate External Communications team to develop and execute our public relations strategy, optimize media relations, and craft compelling stories that enhance our public image.

  • Thought Leadership: Position our company and executives as industry leaders by developing and executing thought leadership strategies, creating high-quality content, and securing speaking opportunities.

  • Internal Communications: Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to create and optimize messaging that enhances employee engagement, supports organizational culture, and drives successful change management.

  • Executive Communications: Work closely with executives to develop key messages, speeches, and presentations, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and ready for high-visibility engagements.

  • Brand and Messaging Alignment: Ensure all communications initiatives align with our Wolters Kluwer brand across North America, maintaining a strong understanding of brand guidelines, and work with Product Management and Marketing to optimize our brand architecture.

  • Crisis and Risk Management: Develop and execute crisis communication strategies, ensuring high-quality communications and project support during critical situations.

  • Operations and Measurement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our branding and communication initiatives, using data and insights to refine future strategies while staying ahead of industry trends.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Minimum : BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English or related field highly preferred; or equivalent, relevant experience

Experience

  • 7+ years professional communications experience within a corporate environment or matrixed organization in a variety of capacities including, proficiency in executive communications, speechwriting, presentation development and developing unified messaging across a range of products and solutions

Tools:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)

  • Project management software (Asana, Monday.com, or Adobe Workfront)

  • Employee communications software (PoliteMail or other)

Travel:

  • Up to 20% domestic and international travel
