Principal Engineers, Software positions are located in Bellevue, WA. *Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Build and support all customer-facing and back-office systems for the business. Utilize development languages, runtimes, and frameworks to create software applications. Design, build, and develop software products using modern dev languages, runtimes, and frameworks, including WebSphere Commerce, TypeScript, Redis, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and Angular. Carry out WCS end-to-end implementation. Build and support high functioning large scale full stack applications. Manage and develop resilient, highly available systems. Identify performance bottlenecks. Use sub systems of WebSphere Commerce Server including Catalog and Order. Minimum requirements: Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Applied Computer Science or related, and 7 years of relevant post-Bachelor's, progressive work experience. Skills requirements: must have professional experience in: Designing and coding business logic along with backend components leveraging WebSphere Commerce Server V7 and subsystem customized frameworks Developing microservices using Spring Boot and deploying microservices into AWS using Kubernetes for large scale applications Implementing security features, including Oauth2, JWT Tokens, and APIGEE to secure Spring Boot Microservices high-volume services Coding in DevOps environment within SCRUM framework to deliver Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery automations and leveraging SAFE framework methodologies for large scale and heavily integrated applications Writing code in Redis Cache to catalog data Designing solutions that leverage and connect with high volume external and internal systems for large-scale high-volume retail application using rational application developer tool and plant-UML Additional: Location: Bothell, WA Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
