WorkSource Oregon Cook position in KEIZER, Oregon
This position requires prior cooking experience, shifts are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, prep, cook and serve meals according to planned menus. Adjust menu as needed. Assist with receiving donated and purchased food and other food service supplies as needed. Provide training to volunteer and/or assigned program women as instructed. Assist Kitchen Manager to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe workplace including food storage areas. Reports all food service equipment and/or maintenance issues to the Kitchen Manager daily. Participate in weekly kitchen staff meetings. Attend various Mission functions and meetings as required. Assist with other duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 1. Cooking experience with a desire to learn the cooking and prep skills necessary to assist in preparing meals for large groups. 2. Good organizational skills with ability to work in a multi-task environment. 3. Valid Food Handlers Card. 4. Valid Oregon driver\'s license and ability to drive Mission vehicle.
