[The Social Media Coordinator oversees UNKs enterprise-wide social platforms and is responsible for content creation, event coverage and strategic campaigns. Housed inUNKCommunications and Marketing, responsibilities include monitoring interactions, analyzing performance and advising campus partners on best practices. The role handles crisis communications, maintains digital campus resources and ensures a consistent brand message. Responsibilities also include minor web updates, managing digital signage content and collaborating with departments to align social media efforts with university marketing goals. This position is pivotal in enhancing UNKs social media presence and engaging with our community through compelling content and vibrant storytelling.

[Content Creation:[Generate written, graphic, photo and video content and execute social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube. This includes scheduling, posting and real-time interaction with our community. [[Event Coverage:Coordinate and execute real-time coverage at campus events, delivering dynamic and timely content to enhance community engagement. [Analytics and Reporting:Regularly monitor, analyze and report on social media engagement and performance metrics. Use insights to refine strategies and improve engagement and reach. *[Digital, Web Communication:Assist with basic updates to web content, mainly event calendar, and oversee content updates on digital signage across campus *[Collaboration and Support:Work closely with other departments to ensure social media strategies align with university-wide marketing goals and initiatives.
