As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our engine products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.

About this position: The BPE Product Manager is an automotive enthusiast and is responsible for the voice of the customer, strategy, creation, features, and benefits of the BluePrint Engines product line. This person will evaluate and make recommendations on all aspects of a product through the entire product life cycle with specific focus on new product development. He / She will help coordinate all the tasks required to bring a product to market from product conception to market commercialization by working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and finance to achieve the target. This position will identify the customers needs and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulate what success looks like for a product (annual unit volume, revenue, and profitability), and work cross-functionally with all team members to turn that vision into a reality.

Responsibilities of a Product Manager: Voice of Customer (preliminary product ideation and analysis) SWOT Analysis of all competitors Product Information Management (PIM)

  • Features/Benefits, product photography, performance data, volumetrics, UPC codes, etc.
  • Pricing recommendations (MAP and channel)
  • SEMA Data Co-op and other product data services
  • Develop initial 12-month forecast of all new product launches
  • Assist Purchasing with vendor or quality reviews of components

Website product page population, review and improvements Training of staff on products pre-launch to help make launch successful Assist with promotional projects (videos, fliers, photography, shows, etc.) Other tasks as defined by supervisor

Required Qualifications of Product Manager: Self-Starter Automotive Enthusiast Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) BluePrint Engines Product Knowledge Good Communication Skills (oral, verbal and written) Ability to Work Collaboratively
