We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper / Handyman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and performing various handyman tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain flower beds to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.

• Plant, water, and fertilize trees and spray weeds daily.

• Hauling trash

• Perform routine maintenance of irrigation systems.

• Remove weeds, debris, and other hazards from walkways, parking lot, and outdoor areas.

• Monitor and report any issues related to pests or damage to plants.

• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks on building, equipment, and fixtures.

• Repair or replace damaged doors, windows, locks, and hardware.

• Paint/stain surfaces as needed and perform general carpentry work.

• Wood and metal fabrication when necessary

• Operate small utility tractor for tilling and planting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred.

• Basic knowledge of horticulture practices and landscaping techniques.

• Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, blades, chainsaw, and tillage equipment.

• Previous experience/ knowledge in mixing weed spray chemicals.

• Knowledge of basic welding, light fabrication, and carpentry principles.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Must own pickup truck, one will NOT be provided.

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Compensation

$17.50 - $21.00 based on experience.
