Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engine design and development, with a proven track record of leading successful engineering projects from concept to production. The Engineering Manager will oversee a team of talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engine designs that meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.

Daily Tasks

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop innovative and launch new engine designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to ensure the successful execution of engine development projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of engine designs.
  • Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with design standards, performance requirements, and cost targets.
  • Identify and implement design improvements and cost reduction initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of our engine designs.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in engine design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical background in engine design, including knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
  • Experience with engine design software, such as GT-Suit, CAD, and FEA tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support project activities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • A manufacturing environment may require heavy lifting and manual labor.
  • Clean, air-conditioned and heated facility
  • Flexible and family oriented

HOURS

  • 1st shift (standard work week, automatic overtime built into each Friday)
    • Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    • Friday 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
