Job Description

A large healthcare provider in Houston, Texas is looking to add 2 Pharmacy Technicians to their team. These candidates will be helping with the internal staff while they go through EPIC training and will be responsible for helping with clinic openings. This candidate must be comfortable working with meds to bed retail pharmacy or specialty pharmacy on site, patient refills, fulfillments, scanning, getting ready for shipment, typing, filling, delivering to floor, etc. This is a M-F role but must be able to work within the hours of operation - 8am-6pm. The ideal candidate must be a team player and have a passion for the job!

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Must have open, active, and in good standing TX State Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT)

Outpatient or Retail experience

Comfortable with prior authorizations and insurance verifications

Prior working experience using EPIC Experience in fulfillment with a specialty pharmacy null
