Experienced Tax Accountant

Full time, day. Monday-Friday (Normal Business) Unless otherwise instructed.

Inform clients about the tax preparation process. Analyze tax data to prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals. Analyze tax data to prepare accurate and timely tax returns for small corporations, partnerships, and other entities. Conduct detailed tax research and stay updated on changes in tax regulations. Assist in tax planning by identifying potential tax savings opportunities. Provide clients with IRS support and other applicable agencies as required. Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box. Ensure compliance with government tax rules. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Prepare Franchise tax annual report. Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements: - College or University Degree in Accounting or Finance. - 2+ Years of experience in Taxes and Accounting in a reputable firm.

• Proficient experience in tax and accounting software (Drake-tax and Quick-books) would be a plus.
